The combined Mansfield high schools Russian Club is a unique extracurricular group and really the only one of its kind in North Texas. This is a club for you if you're curious about or interested in things Russian, from history and music to language and food! Meetings are conducted in English with an emphasis on Russian culture. The Russian Club is open to ALL high school students in Mansfield, not just those at MHS, or only those taking a Russian class.

FIRST RUSSIAN CLUB MEETING OF THE 2008-09 SCHOOL YEAR will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009, from 11am-1pm at Taste of Europe Russian deli. This will be a "lunch meeting" during which students will be able to sample various authentic Russian dishes. The cost for this meeting is $12 per person. Interested students must sign up in advance (by Friday, January 30), either in person at Ben Barber (room A127) or by e-mail (holsed@mansfieldisd.org, e-mail must contain first name, last name, campus, student ID #, and contact phone number) and each student must have a signed parent permission slip to partcipate. Transportation will not be provided. All meeting participants will receive a 15% discount on all non-food items a Taste of Europe.
